Jesús Vázquez (television Presenter)
Jesús Vázquez Martínez (born 9 September 1965) is a Spanish television presenter. In 2008 he became the first Spaniard to be selected as a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN Refugee Agency. Biography Vázquez was born in Ferrol, Galicia. He moved to Melilla, where he joined as an undergraduate at the local Veterinary School; however, before he could complete his studies he moved to Madrid. In this period he worked as model. Vázquez rose to fame in the early 1990s as the host of two television shows aimed at the teenage audience aired on Telecinco: ''La quinta marcha'' (1990-1991), which he hosted alongside Penélope Cruz, and ''Hablando se entiende la basca'' (1991-1993). In this period he starred in the film ''Aquí el que no corre, vuela''. Ferrol, Galicia
Ferrol () is a city in the Province of A Coruña in Galicia, on the Atlantic coast in north-western Spain, in the vicinity of Strabo's Cape Nerium (modern day Cape Prior). According to the 2021 census, the city has a population of 64,785, making it the seventh largest settlement in Galicia. With Eume to the south and Ortegal the north, Ferrol forms the Ferrolterra comarca, and together with A Coruña forms the second largest conurbation in Galicia, with a total population of 640,000 in 2016. ''Minute to Win It'' is an international game show franchise where contestants take part in a series of 60-second challenges that use objects that are commonly available around the house. Almudena Cid Tostado (born 15 June 1980 in Vitoria, País Vasco, Spain) is a former Spanish individual rhythmic gymnast who competed on the Spanish national team. She is the only rhythmic gymnast who has competed in four Olympic finals. ''Deal or No Deal'' is the name of several closely related television game shows, the first of which (launching the format) was the Dutch ''Miljoenenjacht (Netherlands), Miljoenenjacht'' (''Hunt/Chase for Millions''). The centerpiece of this format is the final round (a.k.a. the "case game" or "main game" ) which is played with up to 26 cases (or, in some versions, boxes), each containing randomly assigned sums of money. After the player for the case game is determined, this contender claims (or is assigned) one case or a box at the start of the game, without its contents being revealed. The contestant then chooses the other cases or boxes, one at a time, to be immediately opened and removed from play. ''¡Allá tú!'' (Spanish for "It's Your Business") is the Spanish version of ''Deal or No Deal''. It was initially broadcast by Telecinco between 2004 and 2008 and later changed to sister channel Cuatro for a comeback in 2011. The top prize is €300,000 (US$321,585). It had been €600,000 (US$643,170) for a while due to a new text game where the money the contestant wins is split evenly between the contestant and the text winner (so if the contestant wins €600,000, he or she will win €300,000 and the text player will also receive €300,000). In 2006, there was a special called ''La Noche de los 2.000.000€'' (The night of the 2 million euro), but the top prize was €1,000,000 (US$1,071,950) and the game was played twice on that night, the set was different as well (similar to the US version).
