Jesús David José Méndez (born 1 August 1984) is an Argentines, Argentine Association football, football midfielder who currently plays for Independiente Rivadavia. Career Méndez made his league debut for Club Atlético River Plate, River Plate in a 2–1 away win at Atlético Rafaela on 3 March 2004. In 2006 he had a loan spell with Club Olimpo, Olimpo, before joining FC St. Gallen, St. Gallen of Switzerland in 2007. Méndez returned to Argentina in 2008 to play for Rosario Central. In January 2010, he signed for Boca Juniors. After two loan spells playing again for Rosario Central, the midfielder joined Club Atlético Independiente, Independiente in 2014. Méndez played two years in Mexico with Deportivo Toluca F.C., Toluca, before returning to Argentina to play for Club Atlético Vélez Sarsfield, Vélez Sarsfield in the second semester of the 2017–18 Argentine Primera División. San Rafael is a city in the southern region of the Mendoza Province, Argentina. With more than 118,000 inhabitants (), it is the largest city in and the seat of San Rafael Department. The city is located 240 km from the provincial capital and 990 km from the federal capital. Natural attractions in the area include the Diamante River, which flows through the city, the rapids-strewn Atuel River just south and Lake Los Reyunos, 20 km (12 mi) west of San Rafael.
