Jesuit Church, Sibiu
Jesuit Church ( ro, Biserica Iezuiților), otherwise the Church of the Holy Trinity (''Biserica Sfânta Treime''), is a Roman Catholic church located at 3 Piața Mare, Sibiu, Romania. Immediately adjacent to Brukenthal Palace, it is one of the most notable baroque churches in Transylvania. The church is listed as a historic monument by Romania's Ministry of Culture and Religious Affairs. Carmen Iohannis, the wife of president Klaus Iohannis, sings in the choir of this church. Sibiu ( , , german: link=no, Hermannstadt , la, Cibinium, Transylvanian Saxon: ''Härmeschtat'', hu, Nagyszeben ) is a city in Romania, in the historical region of Transylvania. Located some north-west of Bucharest, the city straddles the Cibin River, a tributary of the river Olt. Eyes Of Sibiu
The Eyes of Sibiu are the iconic eyebrow dormers on the roofs of Sibiu's houses. Sibiu lies in Transylvania, a historical region of Romania. The eyes, which are a symbol and a tourist attraction of the city, have given Sibiu the nicknames of ''The City with Eyes'', ''The City Where Houses Don't Sleep'' and the portmanteau ''Seebiu''. They vary in shape – most of them are trapezoid-shaped, others having rounded or elongated forms. In Romanian, they are called ''Ochii Sibiului'', while in German they are known as ''die Augen von Hermannstadt'', Hermannstadt being the German name of Sibiu.
