Jester is the name of three supervillains appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Publication history The original Jester first appeared in '' Daredevil'' #42 (July 1968) and was created by Stan Lee and Gene Colan. The second Jester first appeared in ''Cloak and Dagger'' vol. 3 #8 and was created by Terry Austin, Mike Vosburg, and Don Cameron. The ''Civil War: Battle Damage Report'' one-shot established this Jester's real name as Jody Putt. He also received an entry in '' The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe'' A-Z vol. 6 hardcover. Supervillains
A supervillain or supercriminal is a variant of the villainous stock character that is commonly found in American comic books, usually possessing superhuman abilities. A supervillain is the antithesis of a superhero. Supervillains are often used as foils to present a daunting challenge to a superhero. In instances where the supervillain does not have superhuman, mystical, or alien powers, the supervillain may possess a genius intellect or a skill set that allows them to draft complex schemes or commit crimes in a way normal humans cannot. Other traits may include megalomania and possession of considerable resources to further their aims. Gladiator (Melvin Potter)
Gladiator (Melvin Potter) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Potter was initially depicted as a supervillain and one of the first enemies of the superhero Daredevil. In civilian life, he is a costume designer at the Spotlight Costume Shop in New York City. The Eternals are a fictional extraterrestrial race of humanoids appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. They were created by Jack Kirby, making their first appearance in ''The Eternals'' #1 (July 1976). She-Hulk (Jennifer "Jen" Walters) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. "Civil War II" is a 2016 comic book crossover storyline published by Marvel Comics. The Superior Spider-Man
''The Superior Spider-Man'' is a superhero comic book series published by Marvel Comics that ran between January 2013 and September 2014. It was written by Dan Slott, with artwork by Ryan Stegman, Humberto Ramos, and Giuseppe Camuncoli.
