José David Sierra, better known as Jessica Wild (born June 10, 1980), is a Puerto Rican drag queen, professional make-up artist, and reality television personality, best known as a contestant on the second season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race''. Biography Wild was born in San Juan but raised in Caguas, Puerto Rico. He is the youngest of three siblings. He started his drag career in 1998 at local San Juan gay venues such as ''Krash'' (also known as ''Eros'') and ''Starz''. His drag name comes from a girl whom he dated as a teenager and "Wild" comes from an adjective he used to describe his dance performances. RuPaul's DragCon LA
RuPaul's DragCon LA is an annual expo of drag culture held in Los Angeles billed as a "convention that celebrates 'the art of drag, queer culture and self-expression for all'", which debuted in 2015. Its sister event is RuPaul's DragCon NYC started in 2017, and is considered the "world's largest celebration of drag culture." ''Objetivo Fama'' (sometimes abbreviated as ''OF'', Spanish for ''Target: Fame'') is a Puerto Rican singing talent contest that aired for over six years on WLII, the Univision outlet in Puerto Rico; and on Telefutura in the mainland United States. It is produced by Ender Vega and ''Soraya Sánchez'' ES Television. The program was loosely inspired by the late Puerto Rican singing talent contest and variety show, Voces en Función, and the Spanish reality show, Operación Triunfo. Twenty or so contestants are "bunkered" in a studio/house where they will live together for several months while participating in a weekly show where one of them is eliminated, en route to find a "young star". Jorge Luis Flores Sánchez (born February 22, 1974), better known as Nina Flowers, is a Puerto Rican drag queen, DJ, activist, professional make-up artist, and reality television personality who has been performing since 1993. He is best known for being the runner-up of the inaugural season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race'', as well as being a contestant on the first season of '' RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars''. Biography Flowers was born and raised in Puerto Rico. He started his career as a DJ in 1989 where she became a resident DJ at Krash Klub Kafe, one of the most prestigious clubs in the Caribbean. RuPaul's Drag Race Season 1
The first season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race'' premiered in the United States on February 2, 2009, on Logo. Nine contestants were selected to compete in the running of becoming "America's Next Drag Superstar." The first season was filmed during the summer of 2008. The winner of the first season won a cash prize of $20,000, $5,000 worth of MAC Cosmetics, was featured in an LA Eyeworks campaign, and joined the Logo Drag Race tour. One of the nine contestants to compete on ''RuPaul's Drag Race'', Nina Flowers was determined by an audience vote via the show's official website to be the season's Miss Congeniality.
