Jessica Balogun
Jessica Balogun (born December 20, 1988) is a German professional boxer. She was a standout amateur and is now a world champion professional boxer. Early life Balogun was born on December 20, 1988, in Aachen, Germany. She is of Nigerian descent. Six months after Balogun's birth, she moved to Stuttgart with her mother. She found out about the boxing club, MTK Boxen Aachen, through a classmate while in school in Aachen. Amateur career Balogun joined MTK Boxen Aachen in the summer of 2005. In her first competition, on April 1, 2006, she won the West German Championship with a knockout (KO) victory in round one. Six months later, she finished the 4th International German Women's Box Championships in Herrischried / Südbaden, and won the title of the International German Champion after her win in round two. The MCH Messecenter Herning is an convention center, exhibition centre and entertainment complex in Herning, Herning, Denmark. Aachen Merzbrück Airfield
Aachen Merzbrück Airfield (german: Flugplatz Aachen-Merzbrück) is an airfield located near Aachen, Germany. History The airfield was built about 1914 as a grass airfield, and throughout the 1930s was used by small light aircraft. After the First World War in 1919, it was taken over by Belgium occupying power and used as a military airfield and expanded accordingly. In 1929, the Belgian soldiers withdrew and the airfield became a civilian airfield. In 1930, the airship, '' Graf Zeppelin'' landed and took off in Merzbrück as part of a sightseeing flight in the Rhineland. In 1931, a line connection to Cologne Butzweilerhof Airport was set up, which was operated with the Junkers G 24 until 1935. In 1935, the regular scheduled flight to Cologne was discontinued for economic reasons. In 1932, the world's largest airplane at that time, the Junkers G 38, landed in Merzbrück. Fahrdorf (; da, Fartorp) is a municipality in the district of Schleswig-Flensburg, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.
