Jerónimo Amione
Jerónimo Arturo Amione Cevallos (born 31 March 1990) is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as a forward. Born in Mexico, Amione is Lebanese from his father's side, and Mexican from his mother's side. He represented Mexico at youth level at the 2011 Pan American Games, winning the tournament. Amione obtained Lebanese citizenship in 2017; however, FIFA didn't consider him eligible for the national team as he had already represented Mexico competitively prior to becoming Lebanese. Club career Amione made his senior debut for Atlante on 23 April 2010 as a substitute in a match against Estudiantes Tecos, he scored a goal in the 9 minutes he played in a 3–2 defeat. He was runner up in the 2013 Copa MX, where they lost to Cruz Azul. Later that year, he joined Cruz Azul. Lebanese Nationality Law
Lebanese nationality law governs the acquisition, transmission and loss of Lebanese citizenship. Lebanese citizenship is the status of being a citizen of Lebanon and it can be obtained by birth or naturalisation. Lebanese nationality is transmitted by paternity (father) (see Jus sanguinis). Therefore, a Lebanese man who holds Lebanese citizenship can automatically confer citizenship to his children and foreign wife (only if entered in the Civil Acts Register in the Republic of Lebanon). Amioun ( ar, أميون, translit=Amyūn, gr, Αμιούν) is the capital of the predominantly Greek Orthodox Koura District (i.e. χώρα, "country" in Greek) in the north of Lebanon. The association football tournament at the 2012 Summer Olympics was held from 25 July to 11 August, and was the only sport to begin before the official opening day of the Olympic Games, two days before the opening ceremony. It was also the only sport to be held at multiple venues outside London (the host city of the Olympics), with Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Coventry and Cardiff all hosting matches. The 2012 CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Championship was the thirteenth edition of the CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying, the quadrennial, international, age-restricted football tournament organized by CONCACAF to determine which men's under-23 national teams from the North, Central America and Caribbean region qualify for the Olympic football tournament. Ascenso MX
Ascenso MX was the second tier of professional football in Mexico of the Mexican football league system. The champion of the competition was promoted to Liga MX (top-flight tier). The bottom team was relegated to Liga Premier (the third tier). It was sponsored by BBVA through its Mexican subsidiary BBVA, and was officially known as Ascenso BBVA MX. Formerly known as Primera División A (First Division A) the league rebranded in 2009 its name and competition format to Liga de Ascenso. It was rebranded in 2012 as Ascenso MX.
