Jake Mario Jervis (born 17 September 1991) is an English professional footballer who plays as a winger or striker for Indian Super League club East Bengal. Jervis made his first-team debut for Birmingham City in the FA Cup in January 2010, first appeared in the Football League while on loan to Hereford United in March 2010, and has also played on loan at Notts County, Swindon Town, Preston North End, Carlisle United, Tranmere Rovers and Portsmouth. William Swynfen Jervis (9 November 1839 – 3 April 1920) was an English cricketer active from 1865 to 1874 who played for Lancashire. He was born in Aligarh and died in Southsea. He appeared in two first-class matches, scoring 27 runs with a highest score of 13 and took eight wickets with a best analysis of six for 30. Jervis was an officer in British India, serving in the Royal Munster Fusiliers until he retired. William Jervis (cricketer, Born 1827)
William Monk Jervis (25 January 1827 – 25 March 1909) was an English lawyer and cricketer who played for Oxford University, Marylebone Cricket Club and Derbyshire. Jervis was born at St Marylebone, second son of William Jervis Jervis, and grandson of the 2nd Viscount St Vincent. He was educated at Eton and Trinity College, Oxford. He played cricket for Oxford University in 1848 and played a minor game for Stoneleigh in 1849. He played for MCC in 1850 when he never had a chance to bat, and in 1852 when he made his top score of 17. Also in 1852 he showed up for Hereford against an All England XI. In 1853 Jervis was admitted to the Inner Temple as a barrister-at-law and in 1859 played for the Gentlemen of England. Later, he had a legal practice at Derby and was playing against All England XIs for Staveley in 1867 and 1869 and for Chesterfield. By 1871 he was living at The Elms, Duffield Road, Derby. Thomas Jervis (1770–1838) was an English judge, the last Puisne Justice of Chester until the abolition of the office in 1830. He was also Member of Parliament for Great Yarmouth. With Mary Ann ''née'' Dixon Old Swinford, Worcestershire, he had three sons and a daughter. The family name was from a noble ancestor Gervasius de Stanton. His youngest son was Attorney General of England and Wales, Sir John Jervis. He appeared for the prosecution in the 1812 trial of William Booth for forgery. Booth was sentenced to hang. Admiral of the Fleet John Jervis, 1st Earl of St Vincent (9 January 1735 – 13 March 1823) was an admiral in the Royal Navy and Member of Parliament in the United Kingdom. Jervis served throughout the latter half of the 18th century and into the 19th, and was an active commander during the Seven Years' War, American War of Independence, French Revolutionary War and the Napoleonic Wars. Edward Jervis Jervis, 2nd Viscount St Vincent (1 April 1767 – 25 September 1859) was a Viscount in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. Early life Jervis was born Edward Jervis Ricketts, the second son of William Henry Ricketts and Mary Jervis. Mary Jervis was the daughter of Swynfen Jervis, Rector of Meaford, Staffordshire and the sister of Admiral of the Fleet John Jervis, 1st Earl of St Vincent. He inherited the viscountcy of St Vincent in 1823 by special remainder on the death of his uncle and changed his name by Royal Licence to Edward Jervis Jervis. Jervis resided at the family seats of Meaford Hall and Little Aston Hall, both in Staffordshire. He was Lord of the Manor of Little Aston. Marriages and children Jervis married twice.
