Jerry Palacios
Jerry Nelson Palacios Suazo (; born November 1, 1981) is a Honduran football striker, who currently plays for Belmopan Bandits in Belize. Club career Palacios made his senior debut for Olimpia for whom he played 7 successive years except for a season at F.C. Motagua and a season at Vida. He signed for Chinese Super League side Hangzhou Greentown in January 2010. He had a failed trial in South China in the Hong Kong First Division League. After the Chinese season ended he returned to Marathón for the 2012 Clausura championship. In July 2012 he joined Platense for the 2012 Apertura and in December 2012 he moved abroad again to play for Costa Rican side Alajuelense. Palacios returned to Asia at the end of 2014, this time joining Malaysian club ATM FA. In January 2016 Palacios joined Real Sociedad. In January 2019, Palacios joined Belmopan Bandits in Belize. Johnny Eulogio Palacios Suazo (; born 20 December 1986) is a Honduran footballer who plays as a defender for Olimpia. Personal life His brothers are Milton, Jerry, Wilson and Edwin René Palacios. On 30 October 2007 Edwin, aged 14, was kidnapped in La Ceiba; he was found dead one year and seven months later in Omoa. Club career A one-club man, he has only played professional football for Olimpia so far. Wilson Palacios
Wilson Roberto Palacios Suazo (; born 29 July 1984) is a Honduran former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. Born in La Ceiba, he played for Victoria and Olimpia in Honduras before moving to England, where he played for Birmingham City and Wigan Athletic. In 2009, he joined Tottenham Hotspur, generally playing central defensive midfield as he did for Wigan, though he was occasionally used as a right midfielder for Spurs. In August 2011, Palacios joined Stoke City for an undisclosed fee believed to be around £6 million. He struggled to make an impact in his four seasons at Stoke, however, and left the club in 2015. He subsequently had a spell in the North American Soccer League with Miami, before returning to Honduras where he played for Olimpia and Real Sociedad. He retired in December 2019. Milton José Palacios Suazo (; born December 2, 1980) is a retired Honduran footballer who played as a centre-back. Club career A tall central defender, Palacios started his career with Olimpia and also played for Victoria. After a 2003 friendly match between Olimpia and Chilean powerhouse Colo-Colo, Iván Zamorano (then a Colo-Colo player) recommended him for the Chilean club; however, both teams failed to reach an agreement despite Colo-Colo having registered the player, and Palacios remained in Olimpia. Estadio Olímpico Metropolitano is a multi-purpose stadium in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. It is currently used mostly for football matches and also has facilities for athletics. It has a capacity of 37,325. History It was built in 1997 for the sixth edition of the Central American Games held there. This stadium was built by Jerónimo Sandoval, mostly known by "Chombo Sandoval", he was the organizer of the 1997 Central American Olympic Games in San Pedro Sula, which caused many controversies.
