Jerrell Powe
Jerrell Quartez Powe (born March 15, 1987) is a former American football nose tackle. He was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He played college football for Ole Miss. High school career Powe attended Wayne County High School in Waynesboro, Mississippi, where he had 71 tackles and 14 sacks as a junior. As a senior, he was credited with 89 tackles, including nine QB sacks, while forcing five fumbles. Powe subsequently earned All-American honors by ''Parade'' and ''USA Today''. Nose Tackle
A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that will typically line up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the offensive guards, however he may also line up opposite one of the tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players. Depending on a team's individual defensive scheme, a defensive tackle may be called upon to fill several different roles. These roles may include merely holding the point of attack by refusing to be moved, or penetrating a certain gap between offensive linemen to break up a play in the opponent's backfield. If a defensive tackle reads a pass play, his primary responsibility is to pursue the quarterback, or simply knock the pass down at the line if it is within arm's reach. ''Parade'' was an American nationwide Sunday newspaper magazine, distributed in more than 700 newspapers in the United States until 2022. John Jerry (born June 14, 1986) is a former American football guard. He played college football at the University of Mississippi and was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He has also played for the New York Giants. High school career Jerry attended South Panola High School in Batesville, Mississippi, where he was a two-way lineman and his career totals included 205 tackles, with 13 quarterback sacks. Keiland Terrell Williams (born August 14, 1986) is a former American football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL). He was signed by the Redskins as an undrafted free agent in 2010. He played college football at Louisiana State University. He also played for the Detroit Lions. Callahan Bright (born January 16, 1987) is a former high school football star. His career derailed during college. After one season at Division II Shaw University, Bright entered the 2010 NFL Draft but was not selected. He had brief stints with various Arena Football League teams, now playing for the Wichita Wild. Early life A native of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, in the Delaware Valley, Bright graduated from Welsh Valley Middle School, and then attended Glen Mills School in Thornbury for two years, a school for court-adjudicated youths.
