Jeromy James
Jerome "Jeromy" Jaro James (born 11 April 1981) is a Belizean footballer who currently plays for Belmopan Bandits in the Premier League of Belize and the Belize national team. International career James made his national team debut for Belize on 22 January 2008 in a 1–0 friendly loss against El Salvador. His first competitive appearance was on 6 February 2008 in a 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification match, as a second-half substitute, in a 3–1 win against Saint Kitts and Nevis. James' first, and only international goal to date came in a 4–1 loss to El Salvador on 24 January 2009, in a 2009 UNCAF Nations Cup match. 2009 UNCAF Nations Cup
The UNCAF Nations Cup 2009 was the tenth edition of the UNCAF Nations Cup, the biennial association football, football (soccer) tournament for the CONCACAF-affiliated national teams of Central America. The first five places qualified for the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup. The event was going to take place in Panama City, Panama between January 22 and February 1, 2009, but the FEPAFUT, Panamanian FA announced that they would not host the event due to not having an adequate stadium available for the time period of the tournament. The alternative hosts were Honduras and Guatemala. Honduras submitted an official replacement bid on November 12, and after some consideration it was moved to Honduras. All games were played in Estadio Nacional Chelato Uclés, Estadio Tiburcio Carías Andino in Tegucigalpa. The tournament was sponsored by Digicel. The Unión Centroamericana de Fútbol (Central American Football Union), more commonly known by the acronym UNCAF, represents the national football teams of Central America: Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama.
