Jerome Baker (American Football)
Jerome Baker (born December 25, 1996) is an American football linebacker for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Ohio State. Early years Baker attended Benedictine High School in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a member of the 2014 State Championship football team while at Benedictine and was considered the #2 recruit in the state of Ohio for the class of 2015. He originally committed to the University of Florida to play college football but changed his commitment to Ohio State University. College career Baker played at Ohio State from 2015 to 2017. After his junior season in 2017, he decided to forgo his senior year and enter the 2018 NFL Draft. During his career, he had 159 tackles, seven sacks, and two interceptions. Linebacker
Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. They are the "middle ground" of defenders, playing closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary), but farther back than the defensive linemen. As such, linebackers play a hybrid role and are often the most versatile players on the defensive side of the ball; they can be asked to play roles similar to either a defensive lineman (such as stopping the runner on a running play) or a defensive back (such as dropping back into pass coverage). 2018 NFL Draft
The 2018 NFL Draft was the 83rd annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible players for the 2018 NFL season. The draft was held on April 26–28 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas; it was the first draft to take place in an NFL stadium and the first to be held in Texas. In order to be eligible to enter the draft, players must be at least three years removed from high school. The deadline for underclassmen to declare for the draft was January 15, 2018. Mike Hull (linebacker)
Michael Thomas Hull (born May 25, 1991) is a former American football linebacker. He played college football at Penn State. He was signed by the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2015. Early life Born in 1991 to Tom and Donna Hull in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, Hull was drawn to football early in his life. His father played at Penn State from 1971 until 1973, and also played professionally; he was Mike's first coach. In high school, Hull played running back and linebacker at Canon-McMillan, excelling on both sides of the football. Although he drew interest from schools including Ohio State and Michigan, Hull committed to his father's alma mater, Penn State, in 2008. Lawrence Timmons
Lawrence Olajuwon Timmons (born May 14, 1986) is a former American football linebacker. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He would go on to win Super Bowl XLIII with the Steelers the following year, as well as play in Super Bowl XLV two years later. He played college football at Florida State. Early years Timmons attended Wilson High School in Florence, South Carolina, where he played football and ran track. In football, he played tight end on offense and linebacker on defense.
