Jermaine Jackson (basketball)
Jermaine Maurice Jackson Sr. (born June 7, 1976) is an American former professional basketball player who most recently served as head coach for SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio. Early life Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Jackson graduated from Finney High School of Detroit in 1995. At the University of Detroit Mercy, Jackson played four seasons on the Detroit Titans men's basketball team. Considered one of the Top 50 Midwestern Collegiate Conference / Horizon League Players from (1994-2012). Professional career Jackson was undrafted in 1999 following a college career at the University of Detroit Mercy and began his professional career with the Detroit Pistons (1999-00), going on to play for the Toronto Raptors (2002–03), Atlanta Hawks (2003) and New York Knicks (2005), averaging 2.2 points, 1.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in his NBA career. The Milwaukee Bucks are an American professional basketball team based in Milwaukee. Horizon League Men's Basketball Player Of The Year
The Horizon League Men's Basketball Player of the Year is a basketball award given to the Horizon League's most outstanding player. The award was first given following the 1979–80 season, the first year of the conference's existence. Six players have won the award multiple times: Byron Larkin, Brian Grant, Rashad Phillips, Alfredrick Hughes, Keifer Sykes, and Loudon Love. Hughes, unlike the other four who each won twice, was awarded the player of the year on three occasions. There have only been three ties in the award's history (1981, 1983, 2022). Butler, which left for the Atlantic 10 Conference in 2012 and is now in the Big East Conference, has seven recipients, which is the most all-time. The Italian Basketball Cup (Italian: Coppa Italiana di Pallacanestro), or Coppa Italia, is an annual professional basketball competition between pro clubs from the Italian Basketball League (LBA). It is Italy's first-tier cup competition, and is not to be confused with Italy's second-tier cup competition, the Italian Legadue Cup. History and format The first edition of the Italian Cup championship took place in 1968, and was won by Partenope Napoli. Between 1975 and 1983, the cup competition was not held, but it has been held regularly every year from 1984 onward. The formula of the competition has changed over the years. The Ukrainian Basketball SuperLeague (USL) ( uk, Українська баскетбольна суперліга) is the first-tier level of professional basketball league in Ukraine. Established in 1992, the league is currently contested by 10 clubs. It is a tier above the Ukrainian Higher League and allows for one season from the Higher League each season to be promoted. A spire is a tall, slender, pointed structure on top of a roof of a building or tower, especially at the summit of church steeples. A spire may have a square, circular, or polygonal plan, with a roughly conical or pyramidal shape. The Detroit Mercy Titans men's basketball team is the college basketball team that represents University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit, Michigan, and competes in NCAA Division I men's basketball as a member of the Horizon League. Traditionally, the Titans have been a fairly strong "mid-major" program, advancing to the Sweet Sixteen in 1977 and to the Round of 32 twice during the 1990s.
