Jeremy Powers
Jeremy Powers (born June 29, 1983) is an American former professional racing cyclist, who took over 90 UCI victories (the most wins by an American male cyclo-cross rider), four USA Cyclocross national championships, and the 2015 Pan American Championship during his career. He was a presenter for the Global Cycling Network before joining WHOOP. Since rising to the top of the sport, Powers has been involved in many different media, developmental and education projects aimed at growing the popularity of cyclo-cross in the United States through the JAM Fund, his non-profit organization, Behind THE Barriers video production company, cyclocross camps, instructional DVDs and he has also collaborated on several cyclo-cross books including ''Skills Drills and Bellyaches'' and ''Mud Snow and Cyclocross''. 2013 Tour Of Alberta
The 2013 Tour of Alberta is the inaugural edition of the Tour of Alberta stage race. The inaugural event is included on the UCI America Tour, with a UCI classification of 2.1. As such, the race was only open to teams on the UCI Pro Tour, UCI Professional Continental and UCI Continental circuits. The race takes place between September 3–8, 2013, as a six-day, six-stage race, traversing the province of Alberta. The race commences in Edmonton and finishes Calgary. The 2013 Tour of Alberta was one of seven UCI-ranked stage races in the North America in 2013. Due to damages caused by the 2013 Alberta floods, various routes were changed. 2011 Tour Of California
The 2011 Amgen Tour of California was the sixth running of the Tour of California cycling stage race. It was held from May 15–22, and was rated as a 2.HC event on the UCI America Tour. Originally scheduled for eight stages, the race was due to begin in South Lake Tahoe, but snow around the Lake Tahoe area led to stage 1 being delayed, shortened and ultimately cancelled. The race concluded in Thousand Oaks as planned. The race was won by rider Chris Horner, who claimed the leader's yellow jersey with a victory on the event's fourth stage, and held his advantage to the end of the race. Horner's winning margin over teammate and runner-up Levi Leipheimer was 38 seconds, and 's Tom Danielson completed the podium, 2 minutes and 7 seconds behind Leipheimer and 2 minutes and 45 seconds behind Horner. Ryan Trebon (born March 5, 1981) is a retired American bicycle racer, born in Loma Linda, California. He specialized in cyclo-cross and mountain bike racing. In cyclo-cross, Trebon captured the 2004 and 2006 U.S. Gran Prix of Cyclocross series championship. In 2006, Trebon became the first American man to claim national championships in cross-country mountain bike and cyclo-cross. Zachary McDonald (born February 13, 1991) is an American former professional cyclo-cross cyclist. In late 2008, he won the U.S. Junior National Cyclo-cross Championships, followed by a 3rd place in the junior category of the Roubaix race at the UCI World Cup in January 2009.
