Jeremy Gordon
Jeremy Gordon (born 20 January 1987) is a Canadian international cricketer. He has played for the Canada national cricket team since 2012 as a right-arm fast bowler. He was born in Guyana and represented the Guyana national cricket team before immigrating to Canada. Personal life Gordon was born on 20 January 1987 in New Amsterdam, Guyana. He immigrated to Canada in 2006 but returned regularly to Guyana. International career Gordon played at under-19 level for Guyana in 2005 and 2006. He made his senior first-class debut for Guyana in January 2007 against Leeward Islands and went on to play two further senior matches for Guyana. Gordon made his One Day International (ODI) debut for Canada against Scotland during the 2011–2013 ICC World Cricket League Championship and his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut against Ireland in the 2013 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier. New Amsterdam, Guyana
New Amsterdam ( nl, Nieuw Amsterdam) is the regional capital of East Berbice-Corentyne, Guyana and one of the country's largest towns. It is from the capital, Georgetown and located on the eastern bank of the Berbice River, upriver from its mouth at the Atlantic Ocean, and immediately south of the Canje River. 2013 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier
The 2013 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier was played in November 2013 in the United Arab Emirates and is a part of the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier series. This edition of the qualifier for the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 was an expanded version comprising ten qualifiers from regional Twenty20 tournaments in addition to the top six finishers of the previous edition. The 2019 Global T20 Canada was the second edition of the Global T20 Canada, a 20-over professional cricket tournament, played at the CAA Centre, Brampton, Ontario. Global T20 Canada
The Global T20 Canada is a 20-over cricket tournament played in Canada. The first edition of the tournament took place during June and July 2018 with six teams competing. Each team featured four local Canadian cricketers in each squad, along with international players. The inaugural tournament in 2018 took place at the Maple Leaf Cricket Club in King City, Ontario, while the 2019 tournament took place at the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario. The 2018 Global T20 Canada (also known as Canada Dry Global T20 Canada for sponsorship reasons) of the Global T20 Canada, was a 20-over cricket cricket tournament played in Canada.
