Jeremy Corbett
Jeremy Corbett (born 1962 in Westport, New Zealand) is a radio and television host and comedian from New Zealand. Corbett is the former breakfast co-host for More FM's Auckland broadcast, a position he held since 1993, finishing in November 2011. On television he appeared in Pulp Comedy and hosted the New Zealand edition of Deal or No Deal. He currently hosts the comedy game show 7 Days, and appears on The Project on TV3. He is a well-known New Zealand comedian and has appeared at numerous comedy festivals. In 2012, he appeared in the Wellington-based New Zealand comedy, "Edwin: My Life as a Koont" which received international acclaim. Deal Or No Deal
''Deal or No Deal'' is the name of several closely related television game shows, the first of which (launching the format) was the Dutch '' Miljoenenjacht'' (''Hunt/Chase for Millions''). The centerpiece of this format is the final round (a.k.a. the "case game" or "main game" ) which is played with up to 26 cases (or, in some versions, boxes), each containing randomly assigned sums of money. After the player for the case game is determined, this contender claims (or is assigned) one case or a box at the start of the game, without its contents being revealed. The contestant then chooses the other cases or boxes, one at a time, to be immediately opened and removed from play. ''7 Days'' is a New Zealand comedy gameshow similar in some ways to the British program ''Mock the Week'', hosted by Jeremy Corbett and created by thedownlowconcept. Paul Ego and Dai Henwood usually appear on each episode, along with other comedians, who form teams and answer questions about stories from the last week. Show format At the start of each show, Jeremy Corbett announces a content warning, saying "the following show is for adults only and contains bad language that may offend some people".
