Jeremiah Davis (born August 31, 2001) is an American long jumper. He won the US Olympic trials in 2024. Early life He attended Lehigh Senior High School and Florida State University. Career He jumped a personal best 8.37m to finish third at the NCAA Division I Indoor Championships in New Mexico in March 2023. He was a silver medalist at the NACAC U23 Championships in San Jose, Costa Rica in July 2023. He was runner-up in the long jump at the NCAA Indoor Championships in Boston, Massachusetts in March 2024. At the same event, he finished third in the triple jump competition. He was runner-up in the long jump at the 2024 NCAA Division 1 Championships in Eugene, Oregon in June 2024. 2024 United States Olympic Trials (track And Field)
The 2024 United States Olympic trials for track and field will be staged at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. Organized by USA Track and Field, the ten-day competition will last from June 21 to 30 and will serve as the national championships in track and field for the United States. The marathon trials will be held on February 3, 2024, in Orlando, Florida. During the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, track and field events will be held between Thursday, August 1 and Sunday, August 11 with competition beginning each day at 4 am. ET. NACAC U23 Championships
The NACAC U23 Championships in Athletics is an under-23 athletics competition held between the member associations of the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC). Rules and regulations were approved at an extraordinary meeting of the members attending the XVIII Central American and Caribbean Games in Maracaibo, Venezuela held on August 18, 1998. First, the competition was open for athletes aged under-25. The Congress held on the island of Grenada on July 3, 2003, resulted in the reduction of the age limit for its bi-annual championships to athletes under-23 years of age in the year of competition.
