Jens P. Flå
Jens P. Flå (born 13 February 1923 in Rennebu, died 31 January 2002) was a Norwegian politician for the Christian Democratic Party. Flå was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Sør-Trøndelag in 1973, and he was re-elected on two occasions. He had previously served as a deputy representative during the term 1969–1973. On the local level, he was a member of Rennebu municipal council from 1947 to 1973, serving as mayor since 1959. From 1959 to 1969, he, being mayor, was also a member of Sør-Trøndelag county council A county council is the elected administrative body governing an area known as a county. Rennebu is a municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is part of the Orkdalen region. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Berkåk, located along European route E6. The Christian Democratic Party ( nb, Kristelig Folkeparti, nn, Kristeleg Folkeparti, se, Risttalaš Álbmotbellodat, , KrF) is a Christian-democratic political party in Norway founded in 1933. The Storting ( no, Stortinget ) (lit. the Great Thing) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. The unicameral parliament has 169 members and is elected every four years based on party-list proportional representation in nineteen multi-seat constituencies. Sør-Trøndelag () was a county comprising the southern portion of the present-day Trøndelag county in Norway. It bordered the old Nord-Trøndelag county as well as the counties of Møre og Romsdal, Oppland, and Hedmark. To the west is the Norwegian Sea (Atlantic Ocean), and to the east is Jämtland in Sweden.
