Jenny Rowe
Jennifer Rowe (born 2 October 1955) is a retired British civil servant and former chief executive of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom and the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council. Early life Jenny Rowe was born on 2 October 1955, and educated at Sir James Smith's School, Camelford. She graduated from King's College London in 1977 with a BA (Hons) in History, and studied at the College of Law, Lancaster Gate, and Birkbeck College, where she gained an MSc in Policy Administration in 1984. Civil service Rowe joined the civil service shortly after graduating from Birkbeck, and held a number of posts in the Lord Chancellor's Department. From 1990 to 1993, Rowe was Principal Private Secretary to the Lord Chancellor, and from 1993–1995, was Principal Establishment and Finance Officer at the Serious Fraud Office. Serious Fraud Office (United Kingdom)
The Serious Fraud Office (SFO) is a non-ministerial government department of the Government of the United Kingdom that investigates and prosecutes serious or complex fraud and corruption in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The SFO is accountable to the Attorney General for England and Wales, and was established by the Criminal Justice Act 1987, an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act 1987 grants the SFO powers to require any person (or business/bank) to provide any relevant documents (including confidential ones) and answer any relevant questions including ones about confidential matters. Royal Over-Seas League
The Royal Over-Seas League (ROSL) is a not-for-profit members' organisation with international headquarters in its clubhouse in central London, England. Founded by Sir Evelyn Wrench in 1910 as the Over-Seas Club, it was given a Royal Charter of Incorporation in 1922 and Queen Elizabeth II granted the title "Royal" to mark its golden jubilee in 1960. The league today is both an association of individual members and a supporter of Commonwealth art, music and welfare projects.
