	Jenny Jones (Labour Politician) Jennifer Grace Jones (née Bew; born 8 February 1948) is a Labour Party politician in the United Kingdom. Jones was selected as a Labour candidate through an all-women shortlist. She was elected as Member of Parliament in the 1997 general election for the Wolverhampton South West constituency, defeating the Conservative incumbent Nicholas Budgen with a majority of 5,118. However, fairly early on in Labour's first term in government, she announced that she would not be seeking re-election at the 2001 election. She was succeeded by Rob Marris. Prior to entering Parliament, she worked as a social worker and had served on Wolverhampton Metropolitan Borough Council from 1991 to 1997. 	Jenny Jones (presenter) Janina Stronski (born June 7, 1946), known professionally as Jenny Jones, is a Canadian-American comedian, television presenter, and chef. She is known for the tabloid talk show ''The Jenny Jones Show'', which ran for twelve seasons from 1991 to 2003. Life and career Jones was born Janina Stronski in Bethlehem, then in the British Mandate of Palestine. She gave her place of birth on her appearance on "Match Game" in 1981. She moved with her family to Italy, and from there they moved to Canada in 1948. Her parents were Polish immigrants, Zosia "Sophie", a seamstress and dressmaker, and John Stroński, a Polish army officer who was with the British Armed Forces at the time of Jones' birth. 	Jenny Jones (snowboarder) Jenny Jones (born 3 July 1980) is a British professional snowboarder who became the first Briton to win an Olympic medal in a snow event after winning bronze in slopestyle at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Early life Jones was born in Downend, Bristol. She attended The Ridings High School, a large secondary school located in the village of Winterbourne in South Gloucestershire. Having competed in athletics (400m, long jump, cross country) and gymnastics at school, at age 17 she learnt to ski on the dry ski slope in Churchill, Somerset, after they offered free skiing lessons.
