Jenny Barazza
Jenny Barazza (born July 24, 1981) is an Italian volleyball player. She was born in Codogné, Veneto. She began to play in her native town. She scored her first success with Foppapedretti Bergamo, with which she was two times national champion (2004 and 2006), European champion (2005), won a CEV Cup (2004) and one National Cup (2006). She earned more than 130 caps for the Italian national team, with whom she won the 2007 European Volleyball Championship, and where she also was named ''Best Blocker'' of the tournament. Barazza competed at the 2004, 2008, and 2012 Summer Olympics. CEV Cup
The CEV Cup is the second tier official competition for men's Volleyball clubs of Europe. The competition takes place every year. Until 2000, it was the CEV Cup Winners' Cup. Asystel Volley was an Italian women's volleyball club based in Novara. It played in the Serie A1 from its creation in 2003 until its dissolution in 2012. Club Italia is an Italian women's volleyball club based in Rome, it is currently playing in the Serie A1; but it has played in the Serie A2 during season 2017/18. Imoco Volley is an Italian women's volleyball club based in Conegliano and currently playing in the Serie A1. History The club was founded on 15 March 2012, two months after the bankruptcy of the other volleyball team in Conegliano. In April 2012, it acquired a Serie A1 licence from , that meant the club started playing directly at the highest Italian league. It has been playing under the name since its foundation in 2012. Volleyball Players At The 2012 Summer Olympics
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court.
