Jennifer L. Mann (born May 17, 1969) is an American businesswoman and former Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 132nd District, having served from 1999 to 2013. Early life and education Jennifer L. Mann was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, on May 17, 1969. She attended and graduated from William Allen High School in Allentown in 1987. She then attended and graduated from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, with a BA in economics and government in 1991. Career Mann owned and operated a wireless communications firm and served on Lehigh County's Democratic Committee before seeking elected office in 1998, when she ran for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, seeking the seat vacated by Charlie Dent when Dent ran for the Pennsylvania State Senate. Robert Maxwell McCord (born March 5, 1959) is an American former politician and convicted felon. A member of the Democratic Party, he served as the Treasurer of Pennsylvania from 2009 to 2015. He was an unsuccessful candidate for the Democratic nomination for Governor of Pennsylvania in the 2014 election. In January 2015 he announced his resignation as Treasurer of Pennsylvania. On February 17, 2015, McCord pleaded guilty to two counts of extortion. H. William DeWeese (born April 18, 1950) is an American politician who is a former member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. A member of the Democratic Party, DeWeese served as the 135th Speaker of the Pennsylvania House from 1993 to 1994. After five years of investigation by Republican State Attorney General Tom Corbett, he was indicted in December 2009 on six charges of conflict of interest, theft and criminal conspiracy on accusations that two members of his staff used state resources to campaign for political office. The trial began January 23, 2010. He was re-elected in 2010 despite the charges, but was convicted of five of the six felony charges on February 6, 2012. In April 2012, DeWeese was sentenced to 30 to 60 months in state prison, and subsequently resigned his house seat.
