''Jennifer 8'' is a 1992 American thriller film written and directed by Bruce Robinson and starring Andy García, Uma Thurman, and John Malkovich. Plot Former Los Angeles policeman John Berlin is teetering toward burnout after the collapse of his marriage. At the invitation of an old friend and colleague, Freddy Ross, Berlin heads to rural northern California, for a job with the Eureka police force. Instead, Berlin rankles his new colleagues, especially John Taylor, who was passed over for promotion to make room for Berlin. After finding a woman's severed hand in a garbage bag at the local dump, Berlin reopens the case of an unidentified murdered girl, nicknamed "Jennifer", which went unsolved despite a full-time six-month effort by the department. Bruce Robinson
Bruce Robinson (born 2 May 1946) is an English actor, director, screenwriter and novelist. He wrote and directed the cult classic ''Withnail and I'' (1987), a film with comic and tragic elements set in London in the late 1960s, which drew on his experiences as a struggling actor, living in poverty in Camden Town. As an actor, he has worked with Franco Zeffirelli, Ken Russell and François Truffaut. Early life Bruce Robinson was born in London. London Heritage Farm
London Heritage Farm is a historical site that contains the 1880s London family farm house and a park overlooking the south arm of the Fraser River. The farmhouse runs a tea room, gift shop and six display rooms. The grounds include heritage and herb gardens, the restored Spragg family barn, antique farming equipment, a small hand tool museum, chickens, Honey and Blue Orchard bees, community gardens/allotments and large lawns as well as picnic tables and public washrooms. The London farmhouse has been fully restored and furnished to illustrate rural life in Richmond during the 1880 to 1930 era. Riverview Hospital was a Canadian mental health facility located in Coquitlam, British Columbia. It operated under the governance of BC Mental Health & Addiction Services until it closed, in July 2012. In December 2015, the provincial government announced plans to replace the obsolete buildings with new mental health facilities, scheduled to open in about 2019. As of 2019, several unsafe buildings have been torn down, but no new construction has started. Braille (Pronounced: ) is a tactile writing system used by people who are visually impaired, including people who are Blindness, blind, Deafblindness, deafblind or who have low vision.
