is a municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is part of the Helgeland traditional region. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Trofors. There are several other villages including Fallmoen, Leiren, Majavatn, and Strendene. European route E6 highway and the Nordland Line run through the municipality from south to north. The municipality is the 37th largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Grane is the 302nd most populous municipality in Norway with a population of 1,461. Namsvatnet
or is a lake in the municipality of Røyrvik in Trøndelag county, Norway. The river Namsen used to be the primary outlet, but the lake has been regulated for hydroelectric generation since 1959 and part of the water is diverted south towards a power station. The lake is fed by three main sources within Børgefjell National Park: the river Storelva which comes from the lake Jengelvatnet, the river Virmaelva, and the river Orelva which comes from the lake Ovrejaevrie. Børgefjell National Park
Børgefjell National Park ( no, Børgefjell nasjonalpark, sma, Byrkije vaarjelimmiedajve) is an undeveloped national park in Norway, straddling the border between Trøndelag and Nordland counties, along the border with Sweden. The park is undeveloped with few trails or other facilities for visitors. Visitors can hike for extended periods without seeing another person. The park was originally established in 1963, and it was enlarged in 1973 and 2003. It now includes land in the municipalities of Hattfjelldal, Grane, Namsskogan, and Røyrvik.
