Jelena Mihailović ( sr-Cyrl, Јелена Михаиловић; born 6 October 1987), also known as Jela Mihailovic, is a Serbian cellist based in Belgrade and Los Angeles who performs classical and contemporary music under the artistic name Jela Cello or JelaCello. Early life Mihailović was born in Valjevo, Serbia. During her education at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, she won several prestigious national and international awards. Her style of performing was shaped through cooperation with cellists, including Xenia Janković, Stefan Popov, Mineo Hayashi, Mark Kosover, Gary Hoffman, Leonid Gorokhov, Gautier Capuçon, Christian Pierre La Marca and David Strange. Jela Krečič Žižek (born 1979) is a Slovenian writer and journalist. She has published two books to date: ''None Like Her'' (''Ni druge)'' which has been translated into English by Istros Books, and ''The Book of Others'' (''Knjiga drugih'') which was published in 2018 and was nominated for the Kresnik Award. ''None Like Her'' is a novel about a Slovenian man's romantic problems against a backdrop of nostalgia for the era of Josip Broz Tito. ''The Book of Others'' tells a story around a book that is passed from one character to another and affects their lives despite none of them having read it. Jela Spiridonović-Savić (11 January 1890 - September 1974) was a Serbian poet. Biography Jelena "Jela" Spiridonović-Savić was born in Šabac, Kingdom of Serbia, 11 January 1890. She was the wife of a prominent Consul general of Yugoslavia in New York City, Vladislav Savić. She spent three years in Trieste before World War I studying at the parochial school of ''Nostra Signora della Provvidenza e di Sion'' (Notre Dame de Sion Parish School).
