Jeffrey T. Jablon
Jeffrey Todd Jablon (born 1964) is a United States Navy vice admiral and submarine warfare officer who has served as deputy chief of naval operations for installations and logistics since December 2023. He most recently served as Commander, Submarine Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet from April 29, 2021 to June 15, 2023. He previously served as director of military personnel plans and policy of the United States Navy. The National Defense Service Medal (NDSM) is a service award of the United States Armed Forces established by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1953. It is awarded to every member of the US Armed Forces who has served during any one of four specified periods of armed conflict or national emergency from June 27, 1950 through the present. A service star is a miniature bronze or silver five-pointed star inch (4.8 mm) in diameter that is authorized to be worn by members of the eight uniformed services of the United States on medals and ribbons to denote an additional award or service period. The Navy Unit Commendation (NUC) is a United States Navy unit award that was established by order of the Secretary of the Navy James Forrestal on 18 December 1944. Commendation Medal
The Commendation Medal is a mid-level United States military decoration presented for sustained acts of heroism or meritorious service. Each branch of the United States Armed Forces issues its own version of the Commendation Medal, with a fifth version existing for acts of joint military service performed under the Department of Defense.
