Jeffrey Gunter
Jeffrey Gunter (born June 1, 1999) is an American football defensive end for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Coastal Carolina and N.C. State. Early life and high school Gunter grew up in Durham, North Carolina and attended Riverside High School. College career Gunter played in all 12 of Coastal Carolina's games as a freshman. He became a starter going into his sophomore season and was named first-team All- Sun Belt Conference after recording 49 tackles and 14 tackles for loss. Following the end of the season, Gunter left the program and transferred to North Carolina State in order to be closer to home. After sitting out one year due to NCAA transfer rules, he opted to transfer back to Coastal Carolina. In his first season back with the Chanticleers, Gunter was again named first-team All-Sun Belt after finishing the year with 58 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks. ''The Sun News'' is a daily newspaper published in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, in the United States. It serves the Grand Strand region of South Carolina with a daily circulation of 19,773 and a Sunday circulation of 26,798. It is owned by Chatham Asset Management. The ''Myrtle Beach News'' was founded as a weekly in 1935 by brothers-in-law C. L. Phillips and J. Clarence Macklen. They had recently started a printing business, and local merchants asked them to do a local newspaper. In 1961, it was sold to Mark Garner, publisher of Myrtle Beach's other newspaper, the ''Myrtle Beach Sun'' (started in 1950). Garner merged the two papers into ''The Sun News'', and soon began publishing twice weekly. The 2022 NFL Draft was the 87th edition of the National Football League's annual draft and was held from April 28–30, 2022, at the Caesars Forum on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. The first round was held on Thursday, April 28, and was followed by the second and third rounds on Friday, April 29. The draft concluded with rounds 4–7 on Saturday, April 30. It was the first draft to be held in the Las Vegas metropolitan area. The first five selections were defensive players, the second-most taken at the start of a draft after the six in 1991.
