Jeff Saibene
Jeff Saibene (born 13 September 1968) is a Luxembourgish former professional footballer and manager of Swiss Challenge League club Neuchâtel Xamax. Personal life Saibene is a citizen of both Luxembourg and Switzerland and married with a Swiss wife. He is a fan of Hamburger SV. Club career He played most of his club football abroad, predominantly in Switzerland, but also in Belgium for Standard Liège. He began and ended his playing career in his native Luxembourg. International career As a defensive midfielder or defender, Saibene played for Luxembourg's national team 63 times between 1986 and 2001. He played in 27 FIFA World Cup qualification matches. He played his final international game in October 2001, a World Cup qualification loss at Yugoslavia. Kehlen
Kehlen ( lb, Kielen ) is a commune and town in western Luxembourg. It is part of the canton of Capellen. As of the February 1, 2011 census, the commune had a population of 5,048. , the town of Kehlen, which lies in the centre of the commune, has a population of 1,627. Other towns within the commune include Dondelange, Keispelt, Meispelt, Nospelt and Olm. History The history of Kehlen goes back at least to Gallo-Roman period. Celtic tombs have been excavated in nearby Nospelt and a necropolis from the 1st century was discovered in the early 1970s on the ''Juckelsboesch'' plateau between Mamer and Kehlen. A beautiful dark blue glass bowl was among the offerings found there. A monument to the four gods depicting Juno, Minerva, Mercury and Hercules, possibly once the base of a Jupiter Column, was discovered on the heights of Schoenberg at the point where two Roman roads once crossed. The 2011–12 Swiss Challenge League was the ninth season of the Swiss Challenge League, the second tier of the Swiss football league pyramid. It began on 22 July 2011 and ended on 23 May 2012. The champions of this season, St. Gallen, earned promotion to the 2012–13 Super League. The runners-up Aarau won the promotion/relegation playoff against the 9th-placed team of the 2011–12 Super League, AC Bellinzona. Ryszard Komornicki
Ryszard Komornicki (born 14 August 1959) is a former Polish footballer who played as a winger or an attacking midfielder. He is currently the sporting director of GKS Tychy. Playing career Born in Ścinawa, Lower Silesia, Komornicki played for GKS Tychy and Górnik Zabrze in his country, winning four Ekstraklasa championships in a row with the latter club, then moved to Switzerland at the age of 30 where he represented FC Aarau, FC Wohlen and FC Kickers Luzern. He acted as player-coach to the last two teams, retiring at nearly 42. While at FC Aarau he was part of the side that won the Swiss national title in 1992–93. Allan Simonsen
Allan Rodenkam Simonsen (born 15 December 1952) is a Danish former footballer and manager. He most prominently played as a striker for German Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach, winning the 1975 and 1979 UEFA Cups, as well as for Barcelona in Spain, winning the 1982 Cup Winners' Cup. Simonsen is the only footballer to have scored in the European Cup, UEFA Cup, and Cup Winners' Cup finals. Simonsen was named 1977 European Footballer of the Year.
