Jeff Rouse (musician)
Jeff Rouse is an American musician who is best known as the bassist for the rock bands Alien Crime Syndicate and Duff McKagan's Loaded. In September 2014, it was announced Rouse was the newest member of Fozzy. Previously, Rouse was a member of a number of Seattle-based groups such as Vendetta Red and Sirens Sister while he also has his own solo project titled To the Glorious Lonely. Rouse was also a member of the live band, along with his Alien Crime Syndicate bandmates, of Tommy Stinson ( Guns N' Roses, formerly The Replacements), who, at the time, was touring in support of his solo album ''Village Gorilla Head''. Nevada Bachelors were an American rock band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1997. The band's lineup consisted of Robb Benson (vocals, rhythm guitar, keyboard), Mike Squires (lead guitar, backing vocals) and Ben Brunn (bass, backing vocals). Mike Squires (born December 28, 1971) is an American musician best known as the lead guitarist in the hard rock group Loaded, the group led by Velvet Revolver and Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan. Previously, he was a member of a number of Seattle-based groups such as Eat the Feeling, Nevada Bachelors, Harvey Danger, Alien Crime Syndicate and The Long Winters which featured former members of The Western State Hurricanes, Harvey Danger and Death Cab for Cutie among others. Recorded nearly two years before debut ''Dust to Dirt'' but released months after and produced by Gil Norton. Originally the album was to be released on Revolution Records, a subsidiary of Giant Records, however after recording had finished, the record label folded and ACS lost the rights to their album. Giant Records was launched in 1990 as a joint venture between Warner Bros. Records and record executive Irving Azoff. ''Village Gorilla Head'' is the debut album by Guns N' Roses and Replacements bassist Tommy Stinson released on July 27, 2004 through Sanctuary Records. The album featured contributions by Stinson's Guns N' Roses bandmates Richard Fortus and Dizzy Reed, Dave Philips and Gersh of his previous band Perfect as well as former bandmate Josh Freese and his brother Jason. Background and recording Initially, Stinson began writing and recording songs at his home studio in the late 1990s without the intention of making a record. Frank Black, of the Pixies, gave Stinson the use of his mobile recording studio and his studio space for free.
