Jeff Rogers
Jeff Rogers is a retired American soccer player. He began his professional career in the Major Indoor Soccer League before playing in the American Indoor Soccer League and its successor, the National Professional Soccer League, as well as the American Professional Soccer League and USISL. In 1983, Rogers attended San Diego State University, playing one season for the Aztecs. On October 16, 1985, the Dallas Sidekicks of the Major Indoor Soccer League signed Rogers after spotting him in Phoenix, AZ while playing with an amateur team in an exhibition game against the Sidekicks. The Sidekicks released him on October 23, 1986. Rogers moved to Tampa Bay but was traded to the Milwaukee Wave of the American Indoor Soccer Association for one season. Lee Tschantret (born April 10, 1969) is a retired soccer defender. He spent most of his career in the National Professional Soccer League and its successor, the Major Indoor Soccer League. He also played outdoor soccer in the American Professional Soccer League and USL A-League. Youth Tschantret is originally from Albany, New York. He attended the University at Albany where he played on the school's NCAA Division III soccer team from 1987 to 1990. During his four season he scored 50 goals and added 40 assists. The Baltimore Blast is an American professional indoor soccer team based in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. The team is a part of the Major Arena Soccer League. The team has won 10 championships since it was founded in 1980. Beginning with the 2017-2018 season, home games have been played at Towson University's SECU Arena. The Blast previously played at Royal Farms Arena in downtown Baltimore. Team colors are red and gold and their current head coach is David Bascome, who took over after 16 year head coach Danny Kelly had moved on. The Continental Indoor Soccer League (CISL) was a professional indoor soccer league that played from 1993 to 1997. History In the summer of 1989 Dr Jerry Buss, the owner of the Los Angeles Lakers and California Sports, told his executive Vice President, Ron Weinstein, he was closing the doors on the Los Angeles Lazers of the Major Indoor Soccer League, MISL, and that if he ever wanted to "create a professional indoor soccer league that played in the summer months, out from under the shadow of the NBA, NFL, NHL, NCAA Football and NCAA Basketball", he would support the endeavor.
