Jeff Rickard
Jeff Rickard is currently the Program Director anMorning ShowHost at Emmis Communications’ all-sports radio station, WFNI, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Career Rickard started with Emmis as a part-time host and programming advisor before being tapped to take over programming duties full time in August of 2018. Along with former Colts’ lineman and veteran radio host Joe Staysniak, Rickard began hosting the Fan Morning Show in May of 2019. Since Rickard has served as the program director, WFNI has consistently increased its ratings share and is now a consistent top performer across both men 25-54 in the Winter 2021 Nielsen ratings. Emmis Communications is an American media conglomerate based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Emmis, based on the Hebrew word for Truth (Emet) was founded by Jeff Smulyan in 1980. Emmis has owned many radio stations, including KPWR and WQHT, which have notoriety for their Hip Hop Rhythmic format as well as WFAN, which was the world's first 24-hour sports talk radio station. WFNI (1070 AM) is a commercial radio station in Indianapolis, Indiana. It is owned by locally based Emmis Communications and carries a sports radio format, featuring ESPN Radio programming. The studios and offices are located at 40 Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis. WFNI's sports format is also heard on sister station 93.1 WIBC-HD3. WFNI's AM signal, 50,000 watts by day and 10,000 watts at night, went dark at midnight on August 3, 2021. Emmis Broadcasting sold the land on which the six-tower array stood, off Perry Worth Drive near Interstate 65 in Whitestown, Indiana. Joe Staysniak
Joseph Andrew Staysniak (born December 8, 1966) is a former sports radio talk show host and a former professional American football offensive lineman who played six seasons in the NFL. Staysniak worked for the talk radio stations WIBC (FM) and WFNI (AM) in Indianapolis until August 2021. Early life Joe Staysniak played high school football at Midview High School in Grafton, Ohio. After high school, Joe attended Ohio State University, where he was an academic standout and a member on the football team. Staysniak was part of the 1986-87 Ohio State Big Ten championship team that defeated Texas A&M in the Cotton Bowl Classic 28-12. In 1989, Joe was selected as one of the team captains on the Buckeyes football team. During the same season, he was also named an Academic All-American and received All-Big Ten honors. Douglas Mitchell Gottlieb (born January 15, 1976) is an American basketball analyst and sports talk radio host. He played both NCAA collegiate basketball, twice leading the nation in assists, and professional basketball (including USBL; leading the league in assists). He now works for Fox Sports, Pac-12 Network and CBS Sports after tenures with ESPN.
