Jeff Richard
Jeffrey Richard (born March 24, 1979) is a Canadian curler from Kelowna, British Columbia. To date, Richard has won two provincial championships and has made two Brier appearances. In 2010, Richard won the 2010 BC Men's provincial as skip. In 2016, Richard joined Team Geall. In 2017, Richard played in the Canadian Mixed Doubles with Sarah Wark In 2018, Richard would win his second provincial title, defeating Team Cotter in the final in an extra end. Personal life Jeff Richard grown up in family of curlers: his father is Gerry Richard, curler and coach, World and Canadian champion; his sister Jeanna Schraeder played third in team of Kelly Scott, she is World and Canadian champion. Kelly Scott
Kelly Scott (born June 1, 1977 in Winnipeg, Manitoba as Kelly Lynn Mackenzie) is a Canadian curler from Kelowna, British Columbia. Career 1995–2005 Scott won the 1995 Canadian Junior Curling Championships and the 1995 World Junior Curling Championships when she curled out of Manitoba. She was also runner up at the 1991 Canadian Junior Curling Championships when she played lead for Jill Staub. Scott moved to British Columbia with her family in the late 1990s. In 2005, she won her first BC Tournament of Hearts, defeating Patti Knezevic 7–6 in the final, winning in extra ends. This qualified Scott to represent British Columbia at the 2005 Scott Tournament of Hearts, where she finished second in the round-robin, but lost both of her playoff games. 2005–2011 The Scott team participated at the 2005 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials, where they finished in first place in round robin with a 7–2 record. Jeanna Lyn Schraeder (born September 21, 1976 in Kelowna, British Columbia as Jeanna Richard) is a Canadian curler from Kelowna, British Columbia. Career Juniors Schraeder won her first junior provincial championship in 1991 playing lead for Allison MacInnes. She won again in 1994 and 1996 skipping her own teams, however she never won a national title. 2003–2009 Schraeder eventually joined up with 1995 World Junior Champion Kelly Scott. She played third for Scott at the 2003 Canada Cup. Schreader would not participate in the 2004/2005 season, as she was pregnant. The team would participate at the 2005 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials, where they would finish first place in round robin with a 7-2 record. They would face Shannon Kleibrink in the final, and leading 7-5 after nine ends, would give up three in the tenth, losing the olympic bid to Kleibrink. Jim Cotter (curler)
James H. Cotter (born October 15, 1974 in Kamloops, British Columbia) is a Canadian curler from Vernon, British Columbia. Career Cotter grew up in Kamloops, playing both curling and baseball as a youth. As a high school student, he won three provincial high school championships (1990, 1991, 1993). He won two provincial junior crowns, in 1990 and in 1995. At the 1990 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, he skipped the B.C. team to a 6-5 round robin record. This put them in a five-way tie for third place. They would be eliminated from the playoffs however, when they lost their first tie-breaker match to Nova Scotia's Brian Fowlie. Five years later in his last year of eligibility, Cotter was back, skipping the B.C. team at the 1995 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. This time, he would finish with a better, 7-4 record, but it was only good enough for fourth place, and they missed the playoffs. Sarah Wark
Sarah Wark (born February 17, 1986 in Winnipeg) is a Canadian curler from Chilliwack, British Columbia. She currently skips her own team out of Abbotsford. Career As a junior curler, Wark and her team of Darah Provencal, Stephanie Jackson and Sarah Neal won the provincial championship in 2005. The team represented British Columbia at the 2005 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, where they would finish with a 6–6 record. After juniors, Wark would win two provincial mixed titles, in 2009 playing third for Jason Montgomery and in 2014 as third for Wes Craig. Her win in 2009 qualified her team to represent B.C. at the 2010 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship, where they would lose in the semi-final to Ontario.
