Jeff Faris
Jeffrey Faris (born March 13, 1990) is an American football coach who is currently the head coach at Austin Peay State University. He played college football at Duke, where he had spent the entirety of his coaching career before coming to UCLA. Playing career Faris was a three-year safety at Duke who did not see much playing time, redshirting his true freshman season and appearing in one game each in his freshman and sophomore season. Coaching career Duke After graduating with a degree in economics in 2011, Faris was a graduate assistant at Duke, during which he earned his master's in economics and Christian studies. He was promoted to wide receivers coach in 2014 after offensive coordinator Kurt Roper left the program and Scottie Montgomery was promoted to offensive coordinator. Scottie Montgomery
Scottie Austin Montgomery (born May 26, 1978) is an American football coach for the Indianapolis Colts He most recently was the offensive coordinator at the University of Maryland. Prior to his tenure with Maryland, he was the head football coach at East Carolina University. He had previously served as an assistant at Duke University and for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). Montgomery grew up in North Carolina and played wide receiver at Duke and in the NFL. The Austin Peay Governors are the intercollegiate athletic teams of Austin Peay State University (APSU), located in Clarksville, Tennessee, United States. The Governors athletic program is a member of the ASUN Conference. Prior to 2022 the Governors were members of the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) and competes at the NCAA Division I level including the Football Championship Subdivision. David Nelson Cutcliffe (born September 16, 1954) is the Special Assistant to the Commissioner for Football Relations at the Southeastern Conference and former college football coach, most recently head coach of the Duke University Blue Devils. Under Cutcliffe, in 2012 the Blue Devils ended an 18-year bowl drought and also brought the Victory Bell back to Duke after beating arch-rival University of North Carolina. The 2021 Duke Blue Devils football team represented Duke University in the 2021 NCAA Division I FBS football season as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) in the Coastal Division.
