Jeff Cross (American Football)
Jeffrey Allen Cross (born May 25, 1966) is a former American football defensive end in the National Football League. He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the ninth round of the 1988 NFL Draft. He played college football at Missouri. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. The 1988 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held April 24–25, 1988, at the Marriot Marquis in New York City, New York. The league also held a supplemental draft after the regular draft and before the regular season.
