Jeff Badet
Jeff Badet (born August 2, 1994) is an American football wide receiver who is a free agent. He played college football at Kentucky before transferring to Oklahoma to finish his collegiate career, and signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2018. He also played for the Washington Football Team, and Michigan Panthers. In the 2020 XFL Draft, he was selected fourth overall by the Dallas Renegades. High school career Badet attended Freedom High School in Orlando, Florida, playing for the school's football team as a wide receiver. The 2017 NFL Draft was the 82nd annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible American football players. Redshirt, in United States college athletics, is a delay or suspension of an athlete's participation in order to lengthen their period of eligibility. Typically, a student's athletic eligibility in a given sport is four seasons, aligning with the four years of academic classes typically required to earn a bachelor's degree at an American college or university. However, in a redshirt year, student athletes may attend classes at the college or university, practice with an athletic team, and "suit up" (wear a team uniform) for play – but they may compete in only a limited number of games (see " Use of status" section).
