Jeevana Jyothi (1988 Film)
''Jeevana Jyothi'' () is a 1988 Indian Telugu-language drama film, produced by D. Pratap Raju and directed by Relangi Narasimha Rao. It stars Sarath Babu, Jayasudha, Rajendra Prasad, Khushbu, and music composed by Raj–Koti. The film was a remake of Tamil film ''Thaali Dhaanam''. Plot The film begins with an ideal couple Sridhar & Kalyani who are perturbed as they are childless. Parallelly as a glimpse, Akbar their servant whom Kalyani endears as her son, and he too is like-minded. Akbar loves and marries his love interest Noorjahan. Meanwhile, Kalyani gets pregnant, but to her misfortune, she goes into a miscarriage and doctors declare that she cannot conceive again. So, she forcibly performs remarriage to Sridhar with his secretary Nirmala. All is well, until Nirmala's mother Durgamma a shrew, walks in. Relangi Narasimha Rao (born 30 September 1951) is an Indian film director and screenwriter who predominently works in Telugu cinema. He is well known for his comedy films, especially his collaborations with actors Chandra Mohan and Rajendra Prasad. Mano (singer)
Nagoor Babu, known by his stage name Mano, is an Indian playback singer, voice-over artist, actor, producer, television anchor and composer. He is a recipient of several awards such as the Nandi Awards from the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Kalaimamani award from the Government of Tamil Nadu. Mano has recorded more than 1,000 songs for film and private various Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya and Hindi films. The Nandi Awards are the awards that recognise the excellence in Telugu cinema, Telugu theatre and Telugu television, and Lifetime achievements in Indian cinema.
