Jeannine Otis
Jeannine Otis, also known as "Jahneen," is an American singer, educator and music director. Early life and education At the age of 16, she was accepted early to Wellesley College and was the first African-American to a Presser Music Scholar. She earned a BA in Sociology and Musicology. She went on to earn an MA in Theater Education and Performance at Emerson College, where she won a teaching fellowship. Career She has performed with Kool and the Gang, the Shirelles, Grover Washington Jr., Eliot Goldenthal, Pete Seeger and many leading hip-hop artists. She has worked in theater with Galt MacDermot, Liz Swados and Robert Lupone. She wrote a book published by Seabury Press, titled ''The Gathering'', based on her work with imprisoned teenagers. Emerson College

Larry Marshall (actor)
Larry Marshall (born April 3, 1943) is an American actor and singer. He is known for his work in musical theatre and film. Early life and education Marshall was born in 1944 in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and raised in South Carolina and New York. As a child, he created a doo-wop group called the Dell Chords with other kids in the neighborhood. He later studied at Fordham University, Xavier University, and the New England Conservatory of Music. Career During junior year at the New England Conservatory, Marshall won a chorus role in ''Porgy and Bess'', which he toured internationally. After graduation, he continued to perform in the opera, touring nationally and on Broadway, eventually earning Tony and Drama Desk award nominations for his portrayal of Sportin' Life. Heikki Sarmanto
Heikki Veli Uolevi Sarmanto (born 22 June 1939) is a Finnish jazz pianist and composer. Sarmanto was born in Helsinki, Finland, and began to play jazz during the 1960s. He studied first at the Sibelius Academy and later at the Berklee College of Music in Boston between 1968 and 1971. In 1970 he was chosen as 'Jazz Musician of the Year' in Finland and, the following year, he won top prizes at the Montreux Jazz Festival in both piano and combo categories. Sarmanto has released around 40 recordings, numerous published scores, and songbooks, as well as having several film scores to his credit. He has collaborated with jazz musicians such as Sonny Rollins, Art Farmer, Helen Merrill, George Russell and Jeannine Otis; in addition to his work in the classical arena with baritone Jorma Hynninen, the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Tapiola Children's Choir.
