Jean-François Breau
Jean-François Breau (born 29 July 1978 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian singer-songwriter of Acadian origin. Biography Born in Hamilton, Ontario of an Acadian father from Tracadie–Sheila and a mother from Matane, Breau grew up in Tracadie–Sheila, on the Acadian Peninsula, in the Gloucester county of New Brunswick. He presently resides in Quebec. After finishing his secondary education, Jean-Francois studied medicine. He was a health major at University of Moncton's Shippagan Campus to become a cardiologist. In 2004, he took over the lead role in another musical comedy ''Don Juan'' of Félix Gray. His role was opposite the lead role of Marie-Ève Janvier. The show had 350 presentations in Canada, France and South Korea, and the album from the show featuring songs by Breau sold 350,000 worldwide. Hamilton, Ontario
Hamilton is a port city in the Canadian province of Ontario. Hamilton has a population of 569,353, and its census metropolitan area, which includes Burlington and Grimsby, has a population of 785,184. The city is approximately southwest of Toronto in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA). On S'est Aimé à Cause
"On s'est aimé à cause" (meaning "We've Loved Each Other Because") is the third and last single released in Quebec from Celine Dion's French-language album ''D'elles''. It was sent to radio stations in August 2007. Background and release The lyrics were written by Françoise Dorin (author of "Et s'il n'en restait qu'une (je serais celle-là)") and music by Marc Dupré and Jean-François Breau. Tino Izzo produced the track. Dion worked with Izzo already on " Plus haut que moi" in 1993 and " Tout près du bonheur" in 2005 (which she recorded as a duet with Dupré, who also co-wrote this song). Later, Izzo wrote also " A World to Believe In" for the ''Taking Chances'' album. Dion performed "On s'est aimé à cause" during the Quebecer TVA TV special dedicated to the issue of her album ''D'elles''. There was no music video made for this track. Caraquet
Caraquet ( ) is a town in Gloucester County, New Brunswick, Canada. Situated on the shore of Chaleur Bay in the Acadian Peninsula, its name is derived from the Mi'kmaq term for ''meeting of two rivers''. The Caraquet River and Rivière du Nord flow into the Caraquet Bay west of the town. The town was greatly enlarged in 2023 by annexing the village of Bas-Caraquet and several local service districts. Establishment Caraquet was first settled by Gabriel Giraud dit St-Jean who was a French trader and merchant. He married a Mi'kmaq woman and settled in Lower Caraquet. After the expulsion of the Acadians from southern New Brunswick and Nova Scotia in 1755, some Acadians settled in Upper Caraquet. Led by Alexis Landry in 1757, the original town site was founded at what is now called Sainte-Anne-du-Bocage. Petite-Vallée is a municipality (Quebec), municipality in the Gaspésie-Îles-de-la-Madeleine List of regions of Quebec, region of the Provinces and territories of Canada, province of Quebec in Canada. Saint-Casimir, Quebec
Saint-Casimir is a small village of about 1800 people in the Portneuf Regional County Municipality in the province of Quebec, Canada. It is located on the Sainte-Anne River, about southwest of Quebec City and northeast of Trois-Rivières. It was founded in 1836 by people who came from Ste-Anne-de-la-Pérade following to the east along the Sainte-Anne. The name of Saint-Casimir was given in honour of Mr. Casimir Déry, a notary who paid for the construction of the church, which is in the top 10 of the most beautiful churches in the province of Québec. In turn, the church, and the town, is named after Saint Casimir, a patron saint of Poland, Lithuania, and youth.
