Jaynagar Railway Station
Jaynagar railway station is a main terminal railway station in Madhubani district, Bihar. Its code is JYG. It serves Jainagar and the surrounding areas. The station consists of 5 platforms. History The Jayanagar–Janakpur–Bijalpura line a narrow-gauge railway was introduced during the Rana period. The Jayanagar–Janakpur–Bijalpura line was under conversion to with an extension to Bardibas. It is expected to be complete by December 2019. This was Nepal's last surviving railway. Now again the train starts in 2022 4th April Sections The Jaynagar railway station is splitting into two sections. One section is serving the Indian Railways while the new section has been built for the Nepal Railways. Daily two DEMU trains ply on the route. Jaynagar–Anand Vihar Garib Rath Express
The 12569 / 70 Jainagar Anand Vihar Garib Rath Express is a Superfast Express train of the Garib Rath series belonging to Indian Railways - East Central Railway zone that runs between Jainagar and Anand Vihar Terminal in India. When inaugurated, The service of this train was between Darbhanga to Hazrat Nizamuddin which afterwards has been extended to Jainagar from Darbhanga as there was heavy demand of passengers for a direct train from Jainagar to Hazrat Nizamuddin and on the other end to Anand Vihar Terminal due to heavy load of trains on Hazrat Nizamuddin. Darbhanga Airport
Darbhanga Airport is a domestic airport and an Indian Air Force Station, serving Darbhanga, Bihar, India. It is located just at the outskirts of the city near the NH-105 and NH-57 highways, which pass through Darbhanga. The airport is operated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI). The foundation stone for the airport was laid by the then Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and then Civil Aviation Minister Suresh Prabhu, in the presence of state Civil Aviation Minister Jayant Sinha on 24 December 2018. Commercial flights started on 8 November 2020 and also available connecting flight for international flights. History This airport was built by Maharaja Kameshwar Singh Bahadur of Darbhanga when he started his own private airline.
