Jayme Stone
Jayme Stone is a Canadian banjoist, composer and producer who makes music inspired by sounds from around the world. His solo album ''The Utmost'' won the 2008 Juno Award for Instrumental Album of the Year. Stone has studied with Béla Fleck's teacher, Tony Trischka, among others. Julian Lage
Julian Lage ( ; born December 25, 1987) is an American guitarist and composer. Career A child prodigy, Lage was the subject of the 1996 short documentary film ''Jules at Eight''. At 12, he performed at the 2000 Grammy Awards. Three years later, he became a faculty member of the Stanford Jazz Workshop at Stanford University. Classically trained at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, he has studied at Sonoma State University and the Ali Akbar College of Music. He graduated from the Berklee College of Music in 2008. On March 24, 2009 EmArcy released his debut album ''Sounding Point'' to favorable reviews. It was nominated for the 2010 Grammy Award Best Contemporary Jazz Album. Jazz is a music genre that originated in the African-American communities of New Orleans, Louisiana in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with its roots in blues and ragtime. Carrie Newcomer is an American singer, songwriter and author. She has produced 19 solo CDs and has received numerous awards for her music and related charitable activities. She has done numerous collaborations with authors, academics, philosophers and musicians. Kyle James Hauser is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and singer. He was born in Alexandria, Virginia on March 14, 1985. Musical career Kyle James is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music with a degree in Songwriting and performs what American Songwriter described as, "neo-folk" on banjo, guitar and voice.
