Jayden de Laura (born August 11, 2001) is an American football quarterback who is a free agent. He played college football for the Washington State Cougars football, Washington State Cougars football team before transferring to the Arizona Wildcats football, Arizona Wildcats football team in 2022. High school career De Laura began his high school football career at Damien Memorial School in Honolulu, Hawaii, playing on the school's junior varsity team as a quarterback, Safety (American football position), safety, Placekicker, kicker, and Punter (gridiron football), punter before dislocating his collarbone two games into the season. He then decided to focus exclusively on playing quarterback, transferring to Saint Louis School in Honolulu, which produced quarterbacks such as Timmy Chang, Marcus Mariota, Tua Tagovailoa, and Chevan Cordeiro. The San Antonio Brahmas are a professional American football team based in San Antonio, Texas. The team is an owned-and-operated member of the XFL, owned by RedBird Capital, Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia's Alpha Acquico, LLC. History The XFL played its first season in 2020 with eight teams, as a reboot to the league of the same name that played in 2001. After five games, it was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After not playing in 2021 or 2022, it was announced the league would return for the 2023 season.
