Jayciana
Jayciana, is the annual cultural festival of the Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysuru usually held during April – May. The 2016 edition of Jayciana will see the maiden performance of West Indian cricketer Dwayne John Bravo, singer Benny Dayal, tabla band Beat Gurus and artiste V. Brodha. Jayciana 2014 had maiden performance of Romanian dance pop act Akcent, Sandalwood actor Vijay Raghavendra as part of the jury of a dance competition, music by Shankar Mahadevan and his troupe, showcase of their ethnic collection and judging a fashion contest by Prasad Bidapa. Sandalwood theater actor Dhananjay, then a student days at SJCE participated in dramatics, and folk dance events. Benny Dayal
Benny Dayal (born 13 May 1984) is an Indian playback singer. He is a prominent singer in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati and Marathi and more languages films. He has sung more than 3500 songs in 19+ Indian languages. He is a member of the band S5, launched by SS Music TV channel. Prem Kumar, known mononymously as Prem, is an Indian actor who works in Kannada films. He made his acting debut in 2004 through the film ''Praana''. Swarathma
Swarathma (Kannada:) is a Bangalore (India)-based Indian Folk/fusion band. The current line-up features Vasu Dixit (vocals and rhythm guitar), K J Pavan (percussion and vocals), Varun Murali (guitar and vocals), Sanjeev Nayak (violin and vocals), Jishnu Dasgupta (bass guitar and vocals) and Joel Milan Baptist (drums). Krishna Raja Sagara
Krishna Raja Sagara, also popularly known as KRS, is a lake and the dam that creates it. They are close to the settlement of Krishna Raja Sagara in the Indian State of Karnataka. The gravity dam made of ''surki'' mortar is below the confluence of river Kaveri with its tributaries Hemavati and Lakshmana Tirtha, in the district of Mandya. Krishna Raja Wadiyar IV Maharaj of Mysore constructed the dam during the famine despite the critical financial condition in State. It was after him that the dam was named. Rangayana ( kn, ರಂಗಾಯಣ) is a theatre institute which operates from Mysore, Karnataka, India. It works as an autonomous cultural institute. The organization consists of a professional repertory company, a theatre-training institute and a documentation and research centre.
