Jay Tarses
Michael Jay Tarses (born July 3, 1939) is an American screenwriter, producer, actor. He created and produced ''The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd'' and ''The Slap Maxwell Story'', co-created ''Buffalo Bill'' (with Tom Patchett), and was an executive producer for ''The Bob Newhart Show''. Tarses was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from Williams College in 1961. He was co-creator and co-writer (with Andy Hamilton) of BBC Radio 4's situation comedy '' Revolting People'', which was set in colonial-era Baltimore; he played the role of sour shopkeeper Samuel Oliphant to Hamilton's cheerfully corrupt British soldier Sergeant McGurk. His most notable acting role was as Coach Bobby Finstock in the 1980s teen comedy ''Teen Wolf'' (1985). He also co-starred with Jim Carrey on the sitcom '' The Duck Factory'' in 1984. Jamie Tarses
Sara James Tarses (March 16, 1964 – February 1, 2021) was an American television producer and television studio executive. She was the president of ABC Entertainment from 1996 to 1999, the first woman and one of the youngest people to hold such a post in an American broadcast network. Frank Oz (born Frank Richard Oznowicz; May 25, 1944) is an American actor, puppeteer, and filmmaker. He began his career as a puppeteer, performing the Muppet characters of Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Animal, and Sam Eagle in ''The Muppet Show'', and Cookie Monster, Bert, and Grover in ''Sesame Street''. ''The Muppets Take Manhattan'' is a 1984 American musical comedy drama film directed by Frank Oz. It is the third theatrical film in ''The Muppets'' franchise. Jack Rose (November 4, 1911 – October 20, 1995) was an American screenwriter and producer. He began writing gags for Milton Berle and radio lines for Bob Hope before moving to screenplays. His first was 1943's ''Road to Rio'' starring Hope and Bing Crosby. In 1955, Rose produced the Hope film ''The Seven Little Foys'', co-written and directed by his frequent collaborator Melville Shavelson. He also wrote and produced a 1962 Dean Martin romantic comedy, ''Who's Got the Action?'' Jerome Ravn Juhl (July 27, 1938 – September 27, 2005) was an American television and film writer, best known for his work with The Muppets. Biography Juhl was born in St. Paul, Minnesota; his family moved to Menlo Park, California, when he was 14. He received a bachelor's degree in theater arts from San Jose State University in 1961 and worked on children's shows for local television stations while in college.
