''Jay Hind!'' is an Indian Hindi-language standup comedy and late-night talk show hosted by Sumeet Raghavan, which was broadcast on the internet. It was launched on 15 August 2009, and published new episodes twice a week. The final episode was broadcast in October 2014. The show was created by Abhigyan Jha as a sequel to the late-night television comedy show ''Movers & Shakers (TV series), Movers & Shakers''. It was produced by Mrinal Jha for Undercover Productions Ltd. By 2014, the show had a team of 15 scriptwriters. ''Jay Hind!'' included satirical commentary on current events, jokes about politicians and other public figures, and comedy about sexuality and other controversial subjects. The presenter and guests freely used profanity. 1984 Sikh Massacre
The 1984 Anti-Sikh Riots, also known as the 1984 Sikh Massacre, was a series of organised pogroms against Sikhs in India following the assassination of Indira Gandhi by her Sikh bodyguards. Government estimates project that about 2,800 Sikhs were killed in Delhi and 3,350 nationwide, whilst independent sources estimate the number of deaths at about 17,000–30,000. The assassination of Indira Gandhi itself had taken place shortly after she had ordered Operation Blue Star, a military action to secure the Harmandir Sahib Sikh temple complex in Amritsar, Punjab, in June 1984. The operation had resulted in a deadly battle with armed Sikh groups who were demanding greater rights and autonomy for Punjab. Sikhs worldwide had criticized the army action and many saw it as an assault on their religion and identity. A vulture is a bird of prey that scavenges on carrion. There are 23 extant species of vulture (including Condors).
