Jay Goyal
Jay Goyal (born December 23, 1980) was a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for three terms, from 2007 to 2013. He was a Democrat representing the 73rd District, which included the city of Mansfield, Ohio, Mansfield and other parts of Richland County, Ohio, Richland County. Prior to 2011, Goyal served as the Majority Whip. He was succeeded in January 2013 by Republican Mark Romanchuk, who represents a newly drawn district comprising all of Richland County. Goyal announced in May 2012 that he would not stand for reelection. Life and career Goyal graduated from Lexington High School (Ohio), Lexington High School as the class president in 1999. He received his bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Northwestern University. Goyal graduated from the MPP and MBA joint-degree program between the Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard Business School in May 2015.
