Michael Slade (born 1947, in Lethbridge, Alberta) is the pen name of Canadian novelist Jay Clarke, a lawyer who has participated in more than 100 criminal cases and who specializes in criminal insanity. He composes music for feature-length films, short films, documentaries, and dance and theater projects. James Allen Clarke (born 1985), better known as Jodie Harsh, is a London-based DJ music producer, promoter, and drag queen. Born in Canterbury, Kent in 1985, Harsh attended the London College of Fashion. While at university, she first adopted the persona of Jodie Harsh to make money through nightclub jobs. In April 2016, it was announced that Harsh has filmed scenes for '' Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie'', a film adaptation of the cult British television series; the film was released in July 2016. Jodie played herself in the movie, which also stars Jennifer Saunders, Joanna Lumley, and supermodel Kate Moss. In 2019, '' Out'' described Harsh as "Britain's Best-Known Drag Queen". Jay Alexander Clarke (born 27 July 1998) is a British tennis player. In 2017, on a Wimbledon wildcard, Clarke and Marcus Willis beat the defending doubles champions and second seeds, Nicolas Mahut and Pierre-Hugues Herbert, in five sets, to progress to the third round. Clarke has won four Futures titles and two Challenger titles. Early and personal life Clarke has an older brother Curtis (by four years) and an older sister Yasmin (by nine years), who are both former professional tennis players, and all were coached by their father Earol. Clarke is from Pear Tree, Derby. Junior career 2012 Playing in the Great Britain Under 14 boys team, with Samuel Ferguson, they won the European Winter Cup defeating Sweden in the final. Nig Clarke
Jay Justin "Nig" Clarke (December 15, 1882 – June 15, 1949) was a Canadian professional baseball player. A catcher, Clarke played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for nine seasons with the Detroit Tigers, Cleveland Naps, St. Louis Browns, Philadelphia Phillies, and Pittsburgh Pirates. In 506 career games, Clarke recorded a batting average of .254 and accumulated 20 triples, six home runs, and 127 runs batted in (RBI). Born in Canada and raised in Michigan, Clarke began his baseball career in 1902, when he reportedly hit eight home runs in one game while playing for the Corsicana Oil Citys of the Texas League. From there, he spent two more seasons in the minor leagues before the Cleveland Naps signed him to a contract. Aside from a loan to the Detroit Tigers, he played for the Naps for six seasons.
