Javalambre
Sierra de Javalambre ( an, Sierra de Chabalambre) is a long mountain range in the Gúdar-Javalambre comarca of Aragon and the Rincón de Ademuz and Serrans comarcas of the Valencian Community, Spain. Highway N-234 winds its way between Sierra de Javalambre and Serra d'Espadà reaching the coast at Sagunto and the Autopista AP-7. Location This mountain range is located at the eastern end of the Iberian System and the Sierra del Toro its ESE prolongation. Its highest point is Javalambre (2,020 m). Its summits are usually covered in snow in the winter and the 1,839 m high Cerro Calderón or Alto de las Barracas is the highest peak of the Land of Valencia. Aramón Javalambre is a small ski resort in the range with 12.2 km of ski trails. Gúdar-Javalambre
Gúdar-Javalambre is a comarca in Aragon, Spain. The most important town is Mora de Rubielos. This comarca is located at the southern end of Aragon, bordering the Valencian Community. The area is mountainous with the summits of the Sistema Ibérico rising over towns with little or very little population in which the agricultural houses of the former villages have become summerhouses. The Sierra de Gúdar and the Sierra de Javalambre dominate the landscape and give their name to the comarca. The summits are covered in snow in the winter. The Aramón Javalambre ski resort is located in this comarca. Sierra Del Toro
Sierra del Toro ( ca-valencia, Serra del Toro) is a long mountain range in the Alt Palància comarca, Valencian Community, close to the limit with Teruel Province, Aragon, Spain. It is named after the nearby town of El Toro. Location This mountain range is located at the eastern end of the Iberian System and is a southern prolongation of the Sierra de Javalambre. Its highest point is Puntal del Agrillar (1,616 m). Other important peaks are Puntal de Magaña (1,614 metres), Alto del Tomatero (1,607 metres), Puntal de Peiró (1,605 metres) and Salada (1,581 metres), where there is a military communications compound. Its summits are usually covered in snow in the winter and are among the highest peaks of the Land of Valencia. Therefore, there are also numerous ancient ice houses. Sistema Ibérico
The Iberian System ( es, Sistema Ibérico, ) is one of the major systems of mountain ranges in Spain. It consists of a vast and complex area of mostly relatively high and rugged mountain chains and massifs located in the central region of the Iberian Peninsula, but reaching almost the Mediterranean coast in the Valencian Community in the east. The system is hydrographically important, as it separates the watersheds of most of the major rivers in Spain and Portugal, including the Ebro basin from the basins of the Douro, Tagus, Guadiana (Záncara- Gigüela), Júcar and Turia. There are important mining areas in some of the ranges such as Sierra Menera, Sierra de Arcos and Sierra de San Just, making the system one of the chief mining regions in Spain since ancient times. N-234 Road (Spain)
The N-234 is a highway in Spain. It connects Sagunto to Burgos across the Iberian System. The road starts 9 km south of Burgos on the Autovía A-1. It heads south east through the Sierra de las Mamblas rising over the Mazariegos (1,060m) and pass Muela (1,374m). It continues through the mountains tom Soria passing over the Puerto Mojón Pardo (1,234m) with the Reserva Nacional de Urbión in the Sierra de Urbión to the north rising to 2,229m. This range is also the source of the Duero River. At Soria the road meets the N-111 and N-122. The road continues south east into the Sierra de la Virgen and the Puerto Bigornia (1,100m). At Calatayud there is a junction with the Autovía A-2. The road follows the Jiloca River to Daroca and a junction with the N-330 crossing the Puerto de Villafeliche (860m). Serra D'Espadà
Serra d'Espadà (, es, Sierra de Espadán) is a long mountain range in the Alt Palància, Alt Millars and Plana Baixa comarcas, in the Province of Castellón, Valencian Community, Spain.
