Javad Karimi ( fa, جواد کریمی, born March 1, 1998, in Sari) is an Iranian volleyball player who plays as a setter for the Iranian national team and Polish club Warta Zawiercie. He played for Iranian national team in the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Nations League. Neka
Neka ( fa, نكا, also Romanized as Nekā’ and Nekā; also known as Nīkā; formerly, Nāranj Bāgh) is a city and capital of Neka County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 46,152, in 11,941 families. Geography Neka is located at the foot of and up into the northern Alborz (''Elburs'') mountain range, south of and near the Caspian Sea coast. It is close to the city of Behshahr, and southeast of the coastal city of Sari. Iran Men's National Volleyball Team
The Iran Men's National Volleyball Team is the official national men's volleyball team of Iran. It is governed by the Islamic Republic of Iran Volleyball Federation (I.R.I.V.F.) and takes part in international volleyball competitions. As of 11 September 2022, Team Melli is considered as the second team in Asia, as it ranks 10th in the FIVB World Rankings. The national team won the Asian Volleyball Championship four times: in 2011 Tehran, 2013 Dubai, 2019 Tehran and 2021 Chiba & Funabashi In its first appearance in the competition since joining the 2013 World League, Iran has been a dominant force in Group 1 of the competition, posing a challenge to any opponent. The Asian Boys' U18 Volleyball Championship, formerly known as the Asian Boys' U19 Volleyball Championship, is an international volleyball competition in Asia and Oceania contested by the under 19 men's national teams of the members of Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), the sport's continent governing body. Tournaments have been awarded every two years since 1997. The top four teams qualified for the FIVB Volleyball Boys' U19 World Championship. The current champion is Japan, which won its third title at the 2022 tournament. The 13 Asian Championship tournaments have been won by five different national teams. The 2015 FIVB Volleyball Boys' U19 World Championship was held in Resistencia and Corrientes, Argentina from 14 to 23 August 2015. Qualification The FIVB Sports Events Council confirmed a proposal to streamline the number of teams participating in the Age Group World Championships on 14 December 2013. * was the 3rd highest team in the U19 World Ranking which were not yet qualified, but they declined participation. FIVB Volleyball Boys' U19 World Championship
The FIVB Volleyball Boys' U19 World Championship, called the FIVB Volleyball Boys' Youth World Championship between 2007 and 2011, is the world championship of volleyball for male players under the age of 19 organized by ''Fédération Internationale de Volleyball'' ( FIVB). The first edition was staged in 1989 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and tournaments have been played every two years since then. The most recent tournament was hosted by Iran in the city of Tehran and won by Poland. Brazil is the most successful nation in the tournament's history, with six titles and one runner-up. 2017 Asian Men's U23 Volleyball Championship
The 2017 Asian Men's U23 Volleyball Championship was the second edition of the Asian Men's U23 Volleyball Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Islamic Republic of Iran Volleyball Federation (IRIVF). It was held in Ardabil, Iran from 1 to 9 May 2017. The tournament was served as the Asian qualifiers for the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Men's U23 World Championship held in Cairo, Egypt with the top two ranked teams qualifying for the world championship. The matches was played in only one stadium in Ardabil: Rezazadeh Stadium. It was the first time that Iran and Ardabil had hosted the tournament.
