Jasper Weatherby
Jasper Weatherby (born January 22, 1998) is an American professional ice hockey player who is currently under contract with the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the San Jose Sharks in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft, and made his NHL debut in 2021. Early life Weatherby was born in Portland, Oregon to parents Richard Weatherby and Lucinda Moeglein. He comes from Jewish descent as his Jewish grandfather fled the Nazis from London, England. While both of his grandparents became civil right lawyers, his mother attended various civil rights protests during the Civil rights movement. Weatherby also grew up alongside his adopted brother Kevin, who the family took in when he was eight years old. The San Jose Sharks are a professional ice hockey team based in San Jose, California. The Wenatchee Wild were a junior hockey, Junior A ice hockey team. The team played its home games at the 4,300-seat Town Toyota Center in Wenatchee, Washington. The team joined the North American Hockey League as an expansion club for the 2008–09 season, and in that time they were well known for their rivalry with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs. Kyle Criscuolo (born May 5, 1992) is an American professional ice hockey forward currently under contract to the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League (NHL). Playing career As a youth, Criscuolo played in the 2005 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with the Philadelphia Flyers minor ice hockey team. 2019–20 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Season
The 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season began on October 5, 2019, and was intended to conclude with the Frozen Four in April 2020. This would have been the 73rd season in which an NCAA ice hockey championship was held, and was US college hockey's 126th year overall. However, the postseason tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In February, seven members that had previously announced their withdrawal from the WCHA following the 2020–21 season announced that they were reforming the Central Collegiate Hockey Association, and that the new conference would begin play with the 2021–22 season. The NHL Central Scouting Services (CSS) is a department within the National Hockey League that ranks prospects for the NHL Entry Draft at specific times during the hockey season. Players are ranked based on how well they will translate to the professional game in the National Hockey League.
