Jason Young (curler)
Jason "Jay" Young (born September 20, 1979) is a Canadian curler from Wyoming, Ontario. Young is a former World Junior Curling champion. In 1999, Young joined the World Junior champion John Morris rink from the Ottawa Curling Club. He replaced Andy Ormsby in the second position. The team won the 1999 Canadian Junior Curling Championships and 1999 World Junior Curling Championships for the second straight year, but the first title for Young. The following season, Young formed his own team, and won his second Junior championships. At the Canadian Juniors that year, the team finished 9–3, but lost in a tiebreaker to Saskatchewan. Young also won the provincial junior mixed title in 1998, and the provincial schoolboy title in 1998. Jason Kariya Young (born September 28, 1979) is a former professional baseball player. A right-handed pitcher, he played two seasons in Major League Baseball for the Colorado Rockies. Jason Young (born May 27, 1981) is an American discus thrower who competed in the 2012 Summer Olympics, finishing 19th. At Texas Tech, Young was a two-time All-American in track and field and placed second in the discus at the 2004 NCAA Outdoor Championship. In 2010 and 2011, he was the runner-up in discus at the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. He finished 2010 as the number two ranked discus thrower in the world, and has been ranked among the top ten in the United States six times. Early life Jason Young was born May 27, 1981. The Frankfurt Lions were a German professional men's ice hockey club from Frankfurt, Germany that played in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. The club ceased operations in 2010 due to financial difficulty. History The hockey team was founded as a section of the renowned sports club ''Eintracht Frankfurt'' in 1959. After the section split from the club on March 5, 1991, the hockey team was renamed the Frankfurter ESC "Die Löwen" (meaning ''The Lions''). When the DEL formed in 1994, the team became known as the Frankfurt Lions.
